AD.1739 Axe drop handle

A solid forged brass 'Axe-Head' design drop handle. Sometimes known as a 'dutch drop'. These are often used on small cabinet drawers or in writing desks. Standard finish is Antique Brass. The smaller two sizes are measured beneath the horns and the larger 3 sizes are measured across the horns. I'm afraid I can't explain why this should be, but as it has been that way for over 100 years. The 5/8", 3/4", and 1" are woodscrew fixings and the larger 2 sizes (1.1/4", 1.1/2") are rear-fixing.
