Quality solid brass door knocker of Dicky Dickinson. The design is a representation of the town's first celebrated Governor of the Spa whose personality helped attract visitors there.

This is a lovely, heavy, cast brass door knocker. Fabulous lion head design, as fitted to the door of no.10 Downing Street. Traditionally made from brass-ingot sand castings. The sand castings are then shot-blasted to remove any excess material and then hand dressed and hand filed by our skilled craftsmen. The knockers are then polished to a high standard and then antiqued to give some background colour and definition to the pattern.
